Getting the size right matters more than anything else about buying a ring online. Two minutes here will save you a return — and if you are still unsure at the end, just ask us.
Every STEEQUE ring is made in US sizes 5 to 16, in half sizes throughout. The chart below converts those to UK and EU sizes, and to the physical measurements you can check yourself.
Method one — measure a ring you already own
This is the most reliable method, provided the ring fits the finger you intend to wear the new one on.
- Choose a ring that already fits well.
- Lay it flat and measure straight across the inside of the band, from inner edge to inner edge.
- That measurement in millimetres is the inside diameter.
- Find it in the table below.
Measure to the nearest 0.1mm if you can. A ruler will do; digital callipers are better.
Method two — measure your finger
- Cut a thin strip of paper, roughly 5mm wide.
- Wrap it around the base of the finger. Snug, not tight — it needs to pass back over the knuckle.
- Mark where the paper overlaps, then lay it flat and measure to the mark.
- That measurement is the inside circumference. Find it in the table below.
Before you measure
- Measure at the end of the day. Fingers are at their largest when warm, and smallest first thing in the morning.
- Avoid measuring when cold. A cold hand can read a full size small.
- Check the knuckle. If your knuckle is noticeably wider than the base of the finger, size up so the ring passes over comfortably.
- Wider bands fit tighter. On a band 6mm or wider, consider going up half a size.
- Measure two or three times. If you get different answers, take the largest.
