1. About these terms

These terms apply when you use the STEEQUE website or place an order with us. By placing an order you agree to them, so please read them first. We may update these terms; the version published at the time you order is the one that applies to your order.

2. Who we are

STEEQUE is an online jewellery retailer based in the United Kingdom. Contact us through our contact page, or by email at support [at] steeque [dot] com.

3. Using this website

You may browse and buy for your own personal use. You may not use the site unlawfully, interfere with it or with other users, scrape it, or reproduce its content for commercial purposes. We may change or withdraw the site, or any part of it, at any time.

You must be at least 18, or have a parent or guardian's permission, to place an order.

4. Our products

We describe every product as accurately as we can. Screens vary and jewellery is photographed under studio lighting, so slight differences in colour and appearance are possible. Patterned materials such as Damascus steel vary from piece to piece by nature — that variation is a property of the material, not a fault.

5. Prices and payment

Prices are shown on the product page and include VAT where applicable. Delivery cost is added at checkout and shown before you pay. We may change prices at any time, but never for an order we have already accepted.

If a price or description is obviously wrong, we may cancel the order and refund you in full rather than supply at that price. Payment is handled by our payment providers; we do not store your card details.

6. Your order

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we send you a dispatch confirmation. If we cannot fulfil your order we will tell you and refund any payment in full.

7. Delivery

Delivery methods, costs and estimates are shown at checkout and explained on our Delivery Information page. Goods become your responsibility once they are delivered to the address you gave us. Orders delivered outside the UK may attract import duties or taxes payable by the recipient.

8. Cancellation, returns and refunds

9. Intellectual property

The STEEQUE name, logo, site design, text and photography are owned by or licensed to us and protected by law. You may not use them without our written permission.

10. Our liability

We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so — including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for your statutory rights as a consumer. Subject to that, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable when the contract was made, or for business losses.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes may be brought in the courts of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence.
